News on Down Lane Park Improvement

The three-week period of public engagement around early-stage design options for Down Lane Park has now concluded.

Over 100 people came to our face-to-face engagement events, and we received 118 completed survey responses, plus 16 that were partially completed.

Survey respondents who opted into a Prize Draw were offered the opportunity to win one of five £50 ASDA vouchers. The draw has now been made and the winners have already received their vouchers. Thank you to everyone who attended one of the 'drop in' events of complete the on-line survey.

We are preparing a summary of all the valuable feedback and advice we received during the engagement and will let you know when that is available.
